Part Man a Turtle 2024. Acrylic on loose canvas, 12 x 14"

Spring is in heavy and sunny. The leaves are fat and green. It takes a lot of will power to paint in a cramped studio when the day calls me to depart from old habit and routine. Still, I stubbornly keep to the practice in the morning and make time for spring contentment in the afternoons. I very much enjoy the hum-drum yard work after the longest winter hum-drum weary. The simplest outdoor chore brings cheer and satisfaction of a job well done. Today I planted kale, trimmed the walk way, washed the deck table umbrella, while thinking about the best path forward toward my demise. The existential yard worker who paints. Why not? Suicide has never been an option. But neither is wasting away without spring interfering. I have learned to love and cherish this annual wake up call. Nature wants to help empty my mind. Today I will think not to think. Just be.
Some putzing around the yard, and suddenly October.

October will wait.

Be prepared for months of nicer weather.

I have done some gardening too, this morning.

Plan to go to a local river beach, thus afternoon and 'see' if I can get into creative mode (or not). Writing (books) is a whole different kind of beast, especially if you're me but it sure does not need to happen indoors ;^)

P.S. May I suggest posting in the Art. community, started by @clareartista

I can't help but notice that you use hive engine as your only tag, most of the time.

Ah, river writing. Sounds dreamy.
I know very little on how to maneuver these crypto-social platforms.
I’ll make my next post in @clareartista. Thanks!

Hive engine is basically another layer, built on the Hive blockchain, where so called second layer tokens (all other coins on Hive that arent the Hive coin ) are residing and being transactioned.

There's a lot to learn and discover indeed. I am in crypto and on Hive for 7 years and still learning daily.

Looking forward to your first post in the Art. community!✨

Thank you. That cleared the jungle of two banana plants:)
Thanks for the art community tip@!

Hope you enjoyed those (virtual) bananas 🍌

Yes, very much thank you! But I don’t eat the peels.

It is said that you can smoke them ;<)
