I know nobody really cares, but as mentioned in this post, I don't have the energy to fight a man-child tyrant. I will instead shift my energy where it thrives more.
I'm still going to post here, but I don't think I will put as much effort as before. Life's too short to expend it on worthless battles. We've done this whole back and forth before (roughly this time last year actually), and for what?
Thankfully I'm not as emotionally invested in this platform as I was in the old one. It seems like not much has changed anyway. I won't be recommending any noobies to come here anymore either. It's a total waste of everyone's time. Hive is just not interested in new users, or mass-adoption or any of that.
Has this experiment failed then? Some will say yes. Maybe it has, I don't know. We shall see I guess. As for me, I'm off to support some other projects with my content. Those projects that can use more of my type of content.
Again, I'm still going to be posting here, but with less effort.

I really hope this won’t be the end of Hive chain. It is really pathetic to hear this brother. I have been following the sad tale for a while now.
I don't think it will be the end. There's too much money locked up in Hive for that to happen. I just don't have the energy for the bs :)
You missed another point in your Haejin post; that's he's still here using the dcommerce account that's full of delegated SP which he conned people into delegating to him when he was launching his 'scheme' to great fanfare a year or so back. This was also, of course, turned into Hive at the split and most of the users who delegated have probably long since fallen by the same wayside as his bullshit shop did.
The fork was a chance to rid ourselves of bad actors and choose who we brought forward but that opportunity wasn't taken and as you said, people here don't want mass adoption. There is just an ever decreasing userbase of bigshots voting for each other and making cash, which is what its all about. That said, there are still some interesting people I like to read and correspond with so all is not lost, its simply that its getting more and more difficult to put the bullshit to one side. There comes a time when the bullshit surpasses the value.
