RE: Power dynamics and Hive

in #hive2 months ago

Yes, numbers show Hive is more and more decentralized in terms of stake.

How do you verify who owns the hive on the exchanges?
This is 1/3 of hive.
We are not gonna grow 100 authors with 1m hive any time soon.
This centralization provided to us by the ninjaminers and early adopters, through no real fault of their own imo, can only be overcome by others buying more hive.

I just bought a bit more today, and powered it up. The urge was there of course to purchase community tokens. I did add a hair more to the Vote:Hive liquidity pool.

H-e tokens have their place, some of them will do very well.
Nobody can know which is which until more people get here.

Getting people here who are willing to learn and navigate the complexity, is a challenge. I'm a growing appreciator of the mobile apps. I'm using @3speak more with the local reporting I do, since people are used to clicking on videos. Though I absolutely despise editing video. I may have to recruit the Mrs. - she's brilliant at video editing. She worked in television news for 20 years as director/producer.

To stake Hive you need to take it down from exchanges. They call it Hive...Power :)
