Hey guys, I've finally found a way to ensure that @coingecko gets live Hive supply data to the page (https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/hive) Thanks to hivexplorer.com.
Shoutout to the witness or organization that maintains this public goods.
As can be seen on the CoinGecko page itself, the link I used to pull is https://hivexplorer.com/api/get_dynamic_global_properties where I parse the properties of hive current supply as per what is fetched from the explorer.
Now I noticed that CoinMarketCap uses a different number though they are being opaque with what source they use so unless someone can tell me their methodology, I do not want to assume.
So this means it is supposed to be more accurate data fetching?
