This notification popped up a couple of days ago but I've been too busy to celebrate and blog about it so here I am writing a catch up cos it's always good to reminisce about my time on the chain 😁
It's quite interesting though that this time 4 years ago I was very involved with @teamaustralia and I'm finding myself trying to revive the good old days again.
Who remembers the creative writing challenges we as a community participated in thanks to @sirknight?
I remember all the footers I manually made for what felt like half the blockchain. And to think now these can be automated and made by a bot.
Oh how far we have come in such a long~short'ish amount of time.
In all fairness, out of the 4 years, I'm pretty sure I was only active for 3 and I certainly can see how much has changed while I was AFK.
What I've been curious about the most is if we still put emphasis on recruitment and on boarding new members?
I've joined a couple of crypto groups on facey recently and have been trying to see if there are any fellow Hivers and so far I've only found one person and even then I only found him because he posted a Steemit link 🥴. I was somewhat taken aback and had to give him the down low and direct him to where the community went. I'm happy to say he jumped on board and joined Hive. 😏

What's a revival without a new logo?
A handful of people including myself voted and thankfully the majority liked the proposed logo which is awesome because I happen to really like how it looked on @bella.bear's onesie.
I know I should be writing another post for this since it's @teamaustralia related but it's been on my mind and well, 4 years ago / 4 years later even though things have changed some things stayed the same like me obsessing over the team logo and on boarding.
So!! What do you think?
Who do I talk to, to discuss Hive logo usage?
Personally, if we were going to knuckle down and really promote Hive in Australia via @teamaustralia I reckon having the Hive logo incorporated in to the design would help with brand recognition.

I gave you thoughts already, and now that I have stared at it for a little while longer the hive logo one looks less heavy/intense (though I am still not sure how I feel having so many of them).
