Hive serves as the backbone of Aureal as a Decentralised Financial Institution. People don't really understand the Financial institutions yet their everyday lives are dependent upon it. Aureal aims to make this as seamless as possible. With the functionalities associated with Hive, and the inflow being properly vested into the community gives us a very sustainable business model.

Aureal has a special place for Hive and the community. We're are making it easier for the users to be a part of Hive automatically and increase vesting. Our main focus is to have people who are not a part of Hive community, hence creating more funnels for people to participate in this decentralised space.

I hope that there will be content consumers too.
Nowadays there are too many content creators on the Hive blockchain, but only a little content consumers. This leads to the lack of the real, human comments, and to many disappointed users.
That's what medium.com did. There are way too many content creators, yet it all dumbs down to a content repository which is accessible to the consumers easily. Aureal is going to be just that. A place where we get the creators on Hive and at the same time the consumers too. Rewards from Hive is just the tip of the iceberg, and we're working on increasing the interactions as much as possible by integrating multiple features into the app which are limited to audio, but not limited to just podcasting. :)
Great work... Subscription model seem promising with upcoming recurring payments on blockchain it will be easier to integrate.
We can add threshold parameter for return script that will stop returning when peg is close to $1.

Wondering why keychain is nor integrated, which is most common for most hive related apps. Loading, searching and user experiences are challenges at this point.
Not sure if I understand the pricing model. Is there a paid service and a free service?
If it is paid service, why would we fund it from DHF?
It's a free service, and we're currently revamping the web UI and working on Query time optimisation, You'll be able to see the changes in some days. This article is a little walkthrough about what it'll be in the future.
Also you're right, It doesn't really make sense to fund it from DHF when It's not free. Currently Aureal is free for everyone. and most of it will always be. :)
