Hangry women make the best blogs so I am just responding because rants are my specialty.
people (read: a lot) that have very little online etiquette in terms of dealing with others in the community. It's a real shame because I think these people could be valuable assets to the blockchain community yet by engaging in this type of behaviour
This is a FREE open source platform so people can have their own ways and their own oppinions both in blog work and comments. I do agree that when you DO certain things that it will generate more growth but it all depends on what you want to gain from this hive life.
Sneakily Mentioning Your Own Post In A Comment Every Time
You don't follow me yet you deem it necessary to reply to one of my blogs once in a while with a seemingly interesting answer yet you always add your own little twist story about a post you wrote that day (or the day before) to entice me to read it.
Well I don’t follow you yet I do come by and when you have a topic where I have a blog that can help you I will most definitely leave a link. It’s the way interacting works. Why is that so bad. It’s a free choice of you will read the link.
Not Sourcing Properly
Well we totally agree on that one, and we always with the terminal and with my accounts warn and tell HV if nothing changes. Hell I have ben victim of this and it’s just not funny.
Replying With A Generic Answer
When you are a bigger account the shorties are ok not growing your engagement but ok. But personally am not impressed and will not go to that persons last blog or account yet on the other hand when I get a biggie I will most certainly go and visit the last blog made by the commenter to engage some more.
Desperately Asking For Help
Stop repeatedly asking people to help you grow your account. I've seen a ton of people keep asking the same questions over and over again and even individually messaging people to help them. Nooope. There is so much information on how this place works and what you can do to be a part of the community. Just dig deeper and look. Of course sometimes you are really stuck on something and need help but that's a different story. Use your brain and do your own research!
Here I partially agree, I think it’s strong when people ask for help. I as one of the founders of Heyhaveyamet and the terminal both on the old platform aswell as here het asked a lot. If it’s a repeated comment and nothing is done with the advice a dv is always on my mind but asking for help is perfectly fine! And there is so much available but did you get the whole idea when you started ? Or did you need help?

Stop Being So Self-Obsessed
This is a community. We help each other and create things that make this place better. Only doing things, writing posts that are only 'good for you' is not going to get you anywhere. Look at the big players on here. They are all making things, creating projects that make this space even better and bring the community together. They are really helping out. You want to grow your account? Make a positive impact for a whole load of people. That's it
I am SELF SUPPORTING AND OBSESSED is that wrong NO I am building and have done that for 3,5 years straight my own library of life , and beside that I think my account needs to look diverse , clean and interesting I pay back to the platform not one community ( just because we have so many ) and even that is something not all hivers do. Read what you like and hope the feeling is mutual but it will be a fun ride.
Hive needs to be fun and an addition to your life in general when you can earn and learn that’s great ! You are a SUCCES when you feel great here. The ride is different for everyone.
But again I love a good rant so I am now debating if I should leave you a link to my last blog. Or leave you with a nice vote or do nothing else than this comment.
