presumably you already know, but peakd.com website (the rebrand of steempeak.com for the hive blockchain) has a functioning wallet (and is much better website overall in terms of functionality than hive.blog which is basically just a clone of steemit.com).
The cease and desist is not any kind of threat at all from the standpoint of legal action that could stop hive blockchain from operating.
