Lille is the capital of the Hauts-de-France region in northern France, near the Belgian border.
Nowadays Lille is a cultural center and a lively university town, once it was an important trading center for French Flanders.
Many Flemish influences like the neighbor lands ( Netherlands 🇳🇱 & Belgium ) are still visible today.
I really the Characteristic of Vieux Lille, the historic old town, are the stone town houses from the 17th century, the cobbled pedestrian streets and the Grand Place in the heart of Lille as you can see on the mix pics.
Doing some bar hopping around with my friends Javier and Aurelie, I learned many places, hot spots, pubs, old Lille etc...! I had a fantastic time with them.
