Hi, I am doing the same as well.
I do not get to earn life-changing amount of HIVE/STEEM by writing, so the best way for me to "survive" here is not to openly pick side and just remain under the radar. I avoid writing potentially "controversial" posts that force me to pick a side. So far, I have been surviving well.
Ever since JSun took over Steem, I have never written an original post there. The posts I made there since were all written on Hive and cross-posted over. With HF23, I can now power down my STEEM much quickly and I don't even bother to cross-post anymore.
So, it seems like you're leaving Steem for Hive?
You've just been using Steem lately to earn something extra while you power down?
Largely yes. I have decided not to post on Steem any further and I am powering down right now. There are a couple of communities I am supporting so I will leave my delegation intact until they too decide to leave Steem for good.
