It seems there is a spike in HIVE transactions. 80% more activity has been reported. Of course you could question how accurate this is. But is this HIVE spike just a one time thing? I don’t think so. It’s the new normal.
Theres is one major event that caused this. Splinterlands.
Today they officially left the Steem blockchain for obvious reasons. It’s one of the most used dapps in the blockchain world. Maybe even the biggest. So all those users will play the game through the HIVE blockchain. Great news!
Another factor you could use to explain this, is that Steemit has been censoring a lot of accounts. Including mine. Criticism is not appreciated there. So they are encouraging those people to migrate to HIVE.
I also decided to stop my power down and give HIVE a chance. I still think succes is a long bumpy road for this place. Maybe even unlikely. But there is no alternative as I see it.
I will sell all my Steem and buy HIVE.
A month ago I did sell more than 2000 HIVE but that was an opportunity I had to take. HIVE was trading at almost 1 dollar, which was too good to be true, so I sold all my liquid HIVE for about 2000 dollars. It covered a big part of my investment in Steem.
I would also to start being more active again. Write more about investments, gaming,... I also started to play piano since January and my goal is to cover some songs and upload them to 3Speak. Time will tell if that will work out.
Time will tell if HIVE is going to be a succes story.
IMO that is only the beginning of transactions growth.
