Hello Dabbers, In this post we outline the details of a new project being launched to expand the DAB eco-system.
We have ended our public sale of DBOND and from here out, new DBOND will only be issued as reward tokens. We kick this era for DAB off with a DAB curation trail that we will use as a way to distribute new DBOND into circulation to those who delegate HIVE POWER.
1 - @dab-vote
This account has been set up to distribute DBOND tokens to HP delegators based on curation rewards earned. This ensures all DBOND minted and issued are backed with 1 HIVE each while adding a layer of growth to the @dailydab HP balance which in turn increases the daily HIVE drips paid out to DAB holders.
Voting Power
- 50% of the voting power will be allocated to proxy votes from established curation trials.
- 50% of the voting power will be allocated to those that hold 10 or more DAB tokens (Voting bot updated weekly and DAB number required will increase as more are minted into circulation)
Curation Rewards
- 75% of curation rewards will be used to mint DBOND to distribute to HP delegators.
- Rewards start Friday 14th June and then each Friday after
- 25% of curation rewards will be transferred and powered up directly to @dailydab to increase HIVE drips

No, you will not earn the DAB token. You will get DBOND instead, which if you stake it will start to earn you some DAB.
It is a bit complicated but this is how it works:
Delegate HP -> earn DBOND -> stake DBOND -earn DAB - liquid DAB in your wallet will earn you Hive.
But, if you stake the DAB, then you get more DBOND, which if you stake it,gets you more DAB.
So it is a nice little game. Keep the DAB for Hive rewards, or stake it to get more DBOND. 😜
Personally I stake about 45% of the DAB I get, to increase the amount of DBOND I get to increase my future earnings.
Basically the choice is between earnings today, or increasing your future earnings.
Because of this, everyone has a different apr as it depends on your choice. Do you keep all DAB liquid, do you stake 50%, or 100%? And what is everyone else doing, because that influences what you get.

May I ask where does this word : DAB, originate from.
There's a Nigerian song that goes by the title and the dancing style is just as portrayed in the logo.

The move is called a "dab". Paul Pogba did this a few times, I think that was what made it more popular.
