I had joined steem about a year ago. I thought the blockchain-based apps looked promising and was at the very beginning of me getting back into learning about the technology behind blockchain. So I thought I would use it to post my thoughts on things as I figured them out. Except I never did. I still logged in from time to time, but didn't really do much.
Then I saw the whole Justin Sun thing and the hive split and decided I wanted nothing to do with steem and came over to hive. It didn't really effect me personally, but I didn't like the way all of that went down as essentially a 51% attack.
I've only been on here for about two days, but in that time I feel like I'm at home. I've already interacted more here than I ever did with steemit.
I am an open source guy at heart. And I love the community involvement and especially the decentralization of hive. Hopefully this platform will inspire me to share more. Since I have posted this, it's more than I did on steemit.
