It has been a busy time, and will likely continue to bee so...
I am thrilled that we stand together in shared experience, in this unprecedented moment of human unity, on so many fronts at so many places, and for such a sustained duration.
The changes have been remarkable to behold, I once wore a mask to cut pollution fumes in a local city and surroundings, and was utterly given the widest berth, eyes aghast, as though I truly had the plague.
Well, now the plague is indeed and well upon us, and even to some extent in retreat. It has been a sheer marvel to watch the rapid adoption of policies as people strive to be modern and good citizens.
That said, personally, and like many, I faced great pains, fears; thankfully few losses, hurts, trials; rode some gains, and took some strides. All in all, it has been a swirl of come what may or don't come at all for what feels like the longest time now. Its been a time ruled by amplitude, with moments of serenity, with hunger and hurt sometimes replaced by introspection and growth. I faced death, and I am learning anew how to live.
That said in my time away, on which I may yet write more, I have learned a lot, had my faith in the adaptability and resilience of people restored; as we have borne witness to our own situation, and enacted systemic wide changes, rapidly, effectively.
And now the hope is to begin once more to emerge, with tales to tell, stories to share, and a world, more beautiful, which awaits.
