No longer live streaming. Reasons and future plans.

Hey guys.

As the title says, I have made the decision to no longer do anymore live gaming streams on a regular basis. This is something I do not see as permanent and would like to get back to live streaming once again. But current circumstances as they are, for myself , I believe it is best to no longer live stream.

The reasons for this decision are many , but I'll let all of you know a few of the major ones.

  • The current state of things IRL (in real life). Being with all the restrictions in place where I live, things are getting pretty stressful. Live streaming is an outlet to re leave some of that pressure, but I'm still feeling it.
  • The quality of my streams are NOT where I want them to be. There is so much more I would like to do content wise but my current equipment and quality (or lack there of) of my ISP, really restricts what and when I can stream. My computer can play most of the major games out currently, but adding OBS to the mix it just can't handle it. So I must upgrade in order to continue live streaming.
  • My ISP is garbage. Where I live my ISP is an old family owned telco that basically have a monopoly on internet service. The quality is low and getting advertised speeds is few and far between. Hopefully we will be able to get 5G through a cellular company and leave this ISP behind.
  • Return on investment. I'm putting in time streaming that , after reflection, I could be doing other things that would be for me a better use of time.
  • Money. Or, lack there of. Kind of goes back to my point of needing to upgrade my equipment. Since "The Roni" restrictions, many businesses have been closed and I'm not working because of that. Money is tight, not going to lie.

Honestly, things are good. This is just a small bump in the road that I need to navigate. And I do plan in the future to return to live streaming. Just right now it's not in the cards for me, and that's ok.

What I do plan to do is hopefully post more content here on the Hive blockchain. Make more posts and work on my writing skills. I really don't know what subjects I will post about, but that is something I will have to think about and plan for. Also I just might start making video content. Again I need to think of what subjects I am passionate about. The thing is , I do have a desire to create content and I would like to focus more on that.

(https://vimm.tv)I would like to thank everybody over at @vimm . It's an awesome live streaming platform and I encourage everybody on PeakD and Hive to go show some love to the streamers there. They put alot of time and effort to create cool content and hopefully the community can go and support the streamers on @vimm.

So thanks to everybody who has supported me during my time streaming on vimm or Dlive. Love all of you.

So guys, give me a little time while I make the switch to a new way for me, of creating content. And I thank all of you for your continued support.

Hope to see you streaming again!

Sad to hear @dudeontheweb but I know the feeling of being burned out/not enjoying full commitment. Hope you can find the time (and resources) to get back to it in the future. Sometimes it's good to go back to something you enjoyed in the past, if that's making video content than you should 100% go for it :)

@foreveraverage Thanks for the kind words and understanding. And thanks for all you do too. Oh and I still plan on be a viewer, so you aren't rid of me that easy! LOL

You better don't disapear ;) make sure to warn me when your first video comes out, don't want to miss it
