Ulee Jalan village is a fishing village located on the sea coast of the Malacca Strait, the majority of the population is fishing in the sea.
This is a direct photo I took a small boat used by the local community to catch fish which has a short range of fishing trips, only an area of two hundreds of meters from the sea coast.

Usually people do this in the morning.

And this photo is a hut or place for storing net goods after using it in fishing in the sea and also a resting place before going out to sea to catch fish and also fishing. This is the work of the fishermen in Ulee Jalan village on a daily basis in meeting the needs of their family life. In addition, there are those who give clothes to the fish caught in the sea, drying them so that the fish can be stored longer as salted fish. This salted fish can be made into a community business in this fishing village, sold to inland rural areas such as to agricultural areas far from the sea.
