EXODE releases its new token to HIVE: and anyone may take it!

As part of our roadmap, we have created our new currency, eXode Fuel (EXOFUEL) on https://hive-engine.com .

We have released 24 000 units of EXOFUEL.
And anyone may take it.

These will be the only units of fuel that we release this way.
So this supply will be in the hands of the ones who want it.
EXOFUEL is currently set at 1 FUEL = 1 HIVE.

After that, the price will be up to the community and players having it, as it belongs to them.

Our game mechanics will aim at pushing a higher value for it; the final objective being 1 FUEL = 1 USD (= 6 to 8 times more). However the challenges and balance of the real game will determine if that ends up this way.

What will be the game usage of eXode Fuel?

eXode Fuel will be used ingame once colonization gameplay is released.

Once it happens, players will be able to earn some fuel but will also have to use it for their starships (in space exploration) and colony buildings. As players will try to reduce their fuel usage, they may want to use the player market and acquire alternate, 'player-made' fuels, rising demand for it.

Fuel producers may sound like "kings out there", but even their planets have a limited supply; and they still have to design, collect, produce this fuel. This means EXODE is a "dynamic world", where one fuel might be replaced by another, and one producer by another!

Another possibility will be of course to purchase EXOFUEL directly from players on hive-engine. That will be the simplest way of acquiring it.

Our remaining supply of EXOFUEL (600 mil) is only aimed at distributing it to players thanks to game mechanics, and also to power up player tournaments, special top rankings and community promotions, which will be the only situations where we want to 'airdrop' it.

The 24 000 units we have released for sale is exceptional.

It is as a way for players to acquire it early, and set their own price. Ourselves, we will use funding collected this way in HIVE to act as an "artist funds", as we are aiming at recruiting high-profile artists at the moment and to add their talent to the team.
