Read this postlist it says that this happened because he voted for the sock puppets. I don't know, seems weird to me being that he contributed so much to the community. Any input on this, people? on Steem, it says that @steemchiller was excluded from the airdrop. In this
I believe that was the last drop for him.
His distrust in the Witnesses already came from before and got worse when many of the Witnesses tried to blackmail him to release the code for Steemworld, in exchange for funding its development.
@steemchiller refused to hand out the code and the Witnesses got revenge by making sure his SPS Funding Proposal was shut down, despite a very large part of the community voting in favour of it.
Wow, and just like that, they lost a tremendous asset for the blockchain. Does human arrogance and pride know no limit?
To be honest, I don't know who steemchiller is :D
But if he made it to that list, then he most likely did vote for two or more sock puppets.
He's the one behind SteemWorld
Oh shoot! I liked using SteemWorld! :O
Yeah, he was a nice person as well, that's why it shocked me...
I mean he IS a nice person, it's not like he's dead lol!
Check out his personal reaction, sounds like he wanted to stay neutral and voted for both sides... https://peakd.com/steemworld/@steemchiller/my-accounts-are-on-the-hive-blacklist
That's an interesting post. Personally I followed the community here, not the witnesses as they have shown their share of tyrannical behavior such as this as well. At least the ninja-stake isn't present here so there might be a better chance for the community to manage witnesses.
Yeah, agreed. We'll see what time brings...
Some ppl with the wrong proxies got punished for not changing it at the right time or they didn't even check to make sure their proxy was voting in their best interest.
If I remember right, the user you mention proxied Justyy, who ended up supporting the soc witnesses.
No, this is what happened (@mondoshawan shared the link):

Ah, well a few did get caught up in the way I explain above.
As for the blacklist, I think it is a bit petty, but unfortunately there's plenty of petty to go around these days. That pesky imperfect human nature at work.
Yes, plenty indeed :/
Well they do that stuff against the centralization but nothing about the vote bots destroying accounts.... Not sure if they should or it would be a good thing but it would certainly feel good to get a bit of support.
The question if it's really against centralization... I don't know enough, haven't really been here long enough... but I don't trust blindly anyone who has more resources and hasn't done their best effort to redistribute them to be actually searching to truly decentralize anything.
On the other hand, why not start a new account to write with, and keep this one for voting and commenting?
I have been reading how the devs have changed the rules that they started with and didn't freeze the ninja stake or airdrops but started a DAO.
Link please :)
https://peakd.com/ninjamine/@edicted/fuck-never-send-humans-to-do-a-hobit-s-jobI like to read the writings of @edicted. The person writes very eloquently. They are very thorough and bring about some view points that I would never think about.
Good one, he states lots of valid points. Will be following him with attention.
Ya I enjoy reading him a lot. I just find it hard to network on this chain after encouraging the central authorities to slam my account like they were slamming others.
i proxied @theycallmedam
and i am in the list too....
Darn, I hope it gets fixed...
