It's a new day, a new dawn a new day. And we are feeling good! Hive has launched and all the excitement of a fresh start is here. For the first time in a few years I'm making a post again. Something has changed, we are hiving now.
The very definition of a fresh start is that we can leave the past behind us and start anew. We don't simply try again. There's a lot of lessons learned and valuable experience that we bring to Hive. But a friendly reminder to behave doesn't hurt anyone. So here goes, lest we never forget. Please BE-HIVE people;
Don't post and run
Don't over-post
DON'T POST NUDITY OR GRAPHIC IMAGERY UNLESS YOU TAG IT WITH NSFW
Don't be a fake, plagiarise or pass off others' work as your own
Don't engage in tag spamming
Don't post unrelated links in the comments
Don't directly ask for votes
What do you mean by "post and run"?
Also, great post. Please upvote and follow. :p
Posting and running is just posting, logging off and never reply to any comment. It's good etiquette to actually engage with the community, not just have some high-stake auto-upvote friends to milk rewards.
BE-HIVING is engaging with the real people here, from person to person. The strenght of community means EVERYTHING for the future of this platform.
Word. I agree with all you have said. I think actual engagement will be the strength in all that we do here. Let's build the user base and start getting people using Hive not for just blogging but for actual commerce. That's when we'll start achieving greatness.
