So, you want to "not see" people that downvote stuff you upvote? Is that what you are looking for?
If so, yes, bring your own bot... this is decentralized. You can try find the best bot to do that...
I can do it too... "Anyone can"... but its not free if you don't know how!
It's not guaranteed too...
Upvoting is not a form a guaranteed revenue...
And the more time it passes... the less it will be!
I know this might take many years to actually settle, but in my view its a much better strategy compared with the current "I can cheat whenever I can, as long I can crate many bots..." (including on #hive, but here we have curation and can actually curate that... with humans, as opposed to being reported and accounts being oppressed).
My views only... none endorsed.
I realize that I could have done much better with an array of bots hopping onto every trending post and getting the curation rewards. I have purposely tried to act as a faithful user of the platform to see if it is useful for people who use it as a social platform.
I read how there were too many creators and not enough consumers. I am mostly a consumer. My experiences of having comments rejected because of lack of power was very frustrating. Glad to have enough to function now, I just view it as an important caveat for any new users, weighed against the merits of this platform.
Its not going to be something like X at... alll! Indeed that's a big barrier, but its also a filtering characteristic of a new paradigm... and I would never envision this to be as easy as speaking a native language or communicating within your own family.
It's going to be a work in progress for a lot of time... but like many things in life, the legacy of these things is what we make of them. And just to document its quirks and challenges is such a great start... for the next generation of bright minds to mine and evolve.
Thanks for dwelling into trying at least.
To find appreciated by just being around, is hard. And I think #inleo is trying to help lots on that front, and this looks like a great way of doing in my view. At least, a viable one.
Later, with more critical mass, the difficulty you pointed out might just become easier.
