For the past 18 months I haven't really been posting on or looking at Hive. I have been elsewhere, on platforms like Bastyon, Blurt, Gab, and yes, even Fakebook...
Back in the day (2021), I was a Hive "Orca" and had over 250k of HP split between multiple accounts, doing a lot of autovoting, and looking over my old Hive spreadsheet yesterday, I clearly saw it as a business, which as things worked out it was.
At the same time I was posting about stuff like the covidhoax and the injection scam, and that is what got me blacklisted - some of the biggest accounts on Hive are pro globalist and pro narrative, and I have never worked out if they are deep state or just total retards. Up until mid 2021 I got away with it.
But then they stated making Hive fully pro covid injection narrative and started the big crackdown. They all look like total fucktards now don't they?
In the end I was so enraged about being downvoted all the time that I powered down, sold the lot, then told some big whales to go fuck themselves and stopped posting on Hive. As it worked out it was a great time to sell Hive and I made truckloads. So those whaletards did me a big favour.
After using a bunch of other platforms for the past two years I now value how well put together Hive actually is - everything works really well - the other sites don't! - and the payouts don't matter to me anymore, as I see now that wanting my $10 payouts for each post was what the whaletards had over me - If I don't care and turn off the rewards, their whole carrot and stick control system is buggered.
So if I get back into using Hive again, as well as declining rewards, I also won't be investing or powering up my accounts beyond the 5HP needed for resource credits. The whole thing of linking content to rewards, always seems to lead to a total disaster. At least for anyone trying to expose narratives and agendas it does. For posting pictures of kittens it's fine...

Back when I had lots of HP I started thinking of myself as an "investor" who had purchased the right to post on the platform, but after being a total nobody on Fakebook and Gab for a while my ego is much smaller!

I think about 90% of the comments and almost all the views on YouTube are AI, and a huge number of the comments on all platforms are bots, as well as most views and traffic on mainstream websites - it's already a full on industry creating fake "engagement" throughout the internet

Believe it or not I have let go of all that stuff. One quick comment for old times sake to test something out, that I have since deleted, and I've moved on now.
There are a bunch of issues dating right back to Steemit 2016, including some pretty compelling dirt on certain accounts. But my own downvoting on Hive was mostly about being anti "vax" and that was long before the WTP stuff came up.

Why not settle any beef you had with them? I think this will go a long way in harnessing your presence here rather than just declining your payouts all the time.

There are two whales I don't think I'll ever make peace with - On Gab I just muted anyone I had a beef with, but there is no downvoting there - here there is, but I wasn't earning anything on Gab or Bastyon or Blurt or Facebook anyway, and if I let go of the idea about this platform being about financial rewards in any way it's probably better creatively anyway, and sorry that my votes will be worthless because I won't be powering up again.
I am going to do my best to just ignore all the old bullshit, I just did one pretty rude comment to my most despised whale and deleted it once he read it, just to get that off my chest (one last "fuck you") but that's it, over and out, I'll try to be zen now :)
