Last October 28, 2021, at 7:30 pm some of the big brains in hive assembled to run a Virtual Meet-up entitled Hive talks: beyond blogging, via Zoom to give the newbies information about Hive and Cryptocurrency.

What I learned
1. Basic of Blockchain and Cryptocurrency
They educated us about the advantages of blockchain and the
cryptocurrency being autonomous with faster transactions having zero or lower fees from anywhere and anyone. They also taught us how the chain and the multiple blocks work with their basic elements. From the data that was stored in the block to the chain that tied the data to the hash of the previous block.This topic was discussed by @thegaillery and @glecerioberto .
2. Basics of Crypto Trading
He taught us how to start trading cryptocurrency through Binance and how to read the crypto candlestick chart; the bullish candlesticks and the bearish candlesticks in a selected time frame with the consecutive opening and closing price. He also tackled the types of trade orders; the limit, market, and stop limit.This topic was discussed by @themanualbot .
3. What are NFT's and how to create/buy them?

How can I mint own NFT?

She unleashed our inner artists.
I always heard of NFT games but I didn't know what it is nor what each letter stands for. I thought, only developers can make NFT but I was surprised because ordinary people have opportunities too! It was also fascinating to know that each token is unique and can't be replaced and copied. I felt like I was in a museum!
I couldn't ask for more because all the speakers are great.
I'm just excited to attend future meetups.

The event was a surprise to me because silly me, I hadn't read the blog about the meet-up and I turned off my phone.. I just opened it at 5:30 pm ,the same date of the meet-up. Fortunately, your message popped up.Thank you @nikkabomb for paving my way. I'm very thankful that you sent the form to my messenger and was included in the group chat.

How far is beyond?
I attended virtual meetings in hive and I'd say that every time I left the virtual room, my cup's filled. The meet-ups were always full of insights that helped me grow in the digital community. I know I am far from understanding the whole world of digital but one thing is for sure, friends in hive are always ready to teach and support.
If you happen to read my blog, especially if you are a newbie like me. Please do attend virtual meetups. I assure you it'd be full of fun and learning.

Hooooooyyyy. 😍 I always think my voice is irritating because high pitch jud ko. but this made my day. But yeah, that was my callcenter voice during our event.

By the way, I love your voice, it ain't irritating, trust me. I always thought about how good your voice is. It's powerful and full of energy yet very soothing.
