Let's start off with @gubbatv. Here is her intro post, I'd highly recommend checking it out. She's got quite the following on most major SM sites.

Parler was a good start but was shut down. It was at that moment I started looking for decentralized alternatives which lead me here!
Something we desperately need here on Hive are influencers who have a following. Hopefully she starts kicking ass and taking names and her followers take notice of what #hive has to offer.

@trostparadox and @aggroed are behind this one and it will be very interesting to see how this all plays out. Quite the experiment if you ask me, and one I will be following closely. Could this lead to other colleges following suit??? I sure hope so.
As @aggroed explains in this post, tribe creation is still fairly difficult for a novice, he elaborates here:
I walked Dr. Trost through the creation process personally and know there's still some things that we have to improve to make Tribe creation an easier experience. There's no way around the fact that Tribes can be tricky and technical and right now it's doable, but not a great experience.
I'm potentially working with @memehub to create a new tribe creation website specifically geared towards helping people create tribes.
So not only is Hive growing by adopting great, disenfranchised independent users, it's reaching educational platforms which will be required to sign up in the class room. How can this NOT be a good thing for HIVE???
Major props to @trostparadox and @aggroed for making this all come together. I am sure it wasn't easy, but they're laying the ground work for future colleges, high schools, and other groups to join Hive seamlessly. Nice work fellas!

So I am thankful that @effieoutside decided to bring her camera skills to us here on Hive. She had been posting on Instagram, but I would gander she will see what Hive has to offer in terms of rewards and community, and stick around for the long haul.

Consistent, all the time. I don't know how she can pump out as much content as she does, and it's not just a single photo with no words. It's legit stories with depth, creativity, and heart-felt emotions. Users like this just don't come around that often.
It's obvious to see why she has been rewarded the way she has. She is a great example to show other new Hiveans the way it's done!

As far as I know, she hasn't invested a single penny here on Hive, and is more than halfway to 1000 HP via rewards alone! That's over $300 for blogging! Amazing!
For whatever reason, she only has 48 followers! 48! That's not good enough in my book for what this woman is contributing. Go and give her a follow, you won't regret it.
If you can't tell, my excitement and optimism for HIVE is off the charts today. So much happening ans still so much to look forward to.
I'm sure these are just a few of the amazing people that have said YES to Hive. I'm sure I missed some...
So let me know who is bringing the big guns to Hive so they can be given their proper due.

True about Insta. It is super fun to look at and play with but there isn't a whole lot of substance to be had. Hive has proven to be a completely different kind of platform so far, and a good one at that.

Hive is definitely different than most common SM sites, the number one thing I hear is that (for the most part) everyone is mostly courteous to other people. It's more about community than look at me, imo opinion anyway.

I'm encouraged by the inroad through education. As a social network we all know that Facebook owes its modest beginning to university social life. If we could tap into just that one market the active user base would explode. This is not to mention Apple, which spent a lot of time catering to education institutions over the years. Not a bad place to focus.
Dude, I was thinking the same thing when writing this post. I thought back to The Social Network, and how that all played out. Wouldn't that be ironic? The methodology behind growing FB to it's peak, will be the exact thing (for HIVE) that takes it down at the knees.
We can only dream, right?
