Many of us out there have been involved with all the efforts to make what we have today into what it is.
Many more of us have in our own special and unique ways contributed to what we believe in, when it comes to this endeavour we now know as Hive.
Not all of us maybe see eye to eye on everything at times, yet we all do understand that "WE are all in it together".
Once upon a time, we felt helpless, somewhat under the boot of a centralized authority, this is no longer the case, since everything on Hive is community run and our motivations are fueled by the almost infinite number of possibilities that are now out there.
Although Proof of Stake, is somewhat limiting in its nature, the community aspect of Hive is unlimited.
United we stand, divided we fall.
When we all put our efforts towards something we can achieve it.
We have proven this in the past, that the power of the people is much stronger than the power of any money.
It is in this spirit of unity and a vision that promotes decentralization and evokes a sense of respect along with all inclusiveness for each and every one of us as individuals, that I write this post here.
For the first time in a very long and somewhat frustrating number of years I can sincerely state that I truly see the potential to be a part of something great.
Hive.
It can be everything we want it to be, no matter what line of business we wish to be in.
We, you, me, everyone who is willing to put in 110% can be a part of this path to decentralization and freedom.
It is all up to us. Each and every one of us.

My vision of HIVE, and STEEM for that matter, is that of a super mega digital photo album (providing the witnesses are willing to take the legal risk of housing the world's photos).
That sounds like a fantastic idea, not sure who is up for that challenge, but it wouldn't surprise me that someone actually does tackle that idea once people figure out the potential that Hive has to offer, since it is not dependent on any "Boss" that looks over peoples shoulders!
Although it has been floated to some of the devs they all see the devious nature of my motivation of when the perverts from the Dark Net pick up on it HIVE/STEEM could likely become the kiddie porn hub of the open web and only the bravest of witnesses would dare house a copy of the blockchain. So it looks like it will require my return from retirement to make it a reality.
Never thought of that.

Yeah, there is a potential for that to happen, but then again, that evil sh#t exists already out there on the internet, it is hosted somewhere, by someone. Not like this will be the only place to "host" something like that.
Although, I do see where a need for "policing" has to come into action, especially on that evil sadistic abuse of children and other things along those lines.

The Doomsday Extension.It will certainly put immutability of the chain to the test (as if that train has not already left the station). If folks freaked out about @thedarkoverlord one can only imagine what kiddie porn available at a click of an extension will due to the reputation, user base and legal ramifications of the chain. My working title for it is
