RE: I created a Wikipedia article about Hive!

Well done!

Currently I flag every post with pending rewards greater than 80 dollars to balance the reward pool a little bit. That doesn't mean I wouldn't appreciate your efforts!

Hi Jaki! Don't worry, I read your post where you say that, so there's no problem. Thank you for your comment and for stopping by <3

There's always got to be one (enter; me). I'm not coming in to troll you @jaki01 but want to give you something to think about.. another perspective.

Why DV based on a set parameter.. the content itself is what should be judged since the content is how we technically "mine" this blockchain. We are rewarding the content. Why is good content, or at least content with effort, being punished?

Depends I guess how you answer this question..

(sidenote: I thought the payout was shown in HIVE, so the post was at 80 HIVE when you flagged it.. not 80 $ if I understand correct but you also may just have misspoke and meant to say 80 HIVE anyway.)

Can you say you felt that his work on this post/or even the contribution to the wiki that is the topic of this post, is not worth $16 dollars, compared to all the other content created around it that week? (and that's at a generous value of 1 HIVE/0.25 USD) -- keep in mind he's only taking half of that for himself.

To me I agree that this contribution is worth at least $8. This post itself took time, is in two languages, and it's also a way to reward him for the contribution to the wiki.

I would bet there is enough crap content that needs flagging that would balance out this post left unharmed.

Just my different side of the wall food for thought ;)

Why DV based on a set parameter ...

... to make people think. Anyway my downvote doesn't matter much, so just consider it as a symbolic gesture.

The converted amount in US dollars is shown.

Can you say you felt that his work on this post/or even the contribution to the wiki that is the topic of this post, is not worth $16 dollars ...

That doesn't matter. I had to treat everybody the same way according to my 'rules', otherwise people would have thought I favored my friends (I even flagged one of my own posts!).

I would bet there is enough crap content that needs flagging ...

Sure, but my aim was to catch the circle-voted trending posts.

To better understand why I did what, read here.
