Exactly my thoughts.
The trending page needs be inviting to all kind of people.

A friends of mine joined yesterday and his first impression wasn't the best.
He told me that he couldn't find interesting content to read/watch and trending page is the first thing newbies see.

The same stuff happened on Steem as well when this would happen. I agree wholeheartedly about the content, rewards, and authors. Trying to filter through all the crypto and hive related pump and pimp makes me lose interest real quick.
