I've heard of the "Crabs in a bucket analogy" and I find that very interesting. It's basically about Crabs that are stuck in a bucket and they keep pulling each other back into the bucket once a crab attempts to break out. Haha. Interesting, right? It's like the poor doing things to make sure other poor people remain poor.
This "Hole in a Bucket" analogy is a very interesting one. People can be like that. People are not very interested in doing the bare minimum required to build something sustainable. Instead, they want to be given stuff freely. Some receive and let it go to waste, just like the Biblical story of folks who were given talents.
I like how this is tied to Hive and the things happening here. Everyone has their reasons for whatever they do. Even a criminal will give you a reason for being a criminal. Well, not all reasons are reasonable.
