It's been more than three months since I joined the hive block chain. I made my introductory post and you know, we all have expectations. The person that introduced me to hive told me I'll have to just make good post, comment on other people's post, join the competitions and a whole lot of other things. It didn't seem bulky to me at first. I watched the number of follows grow from 1 to 4. I followed more people and got to have more communications with the citizens of the sphere. I did almost, if not all, the things I was told to do to get it right on this space;
I joined communities - read their rules and followed them - and posted on them. I joined competitions. I did my personal research so as not to be posting stuuuuuuuupiiid post or lame and stale post on my blog and communities. My first post (introductory post) gave me a dollar. The rest only started fluctuating. I did my best to research, join content creation classes. Sharpen my writing ability while still tryna get it done in other things other than hive. The stress only built up to get me exhausted. It is like working hard and nothing is coming out of it. I was ready for the long game anyways. I kept on contacting people I know on hive to question on how they navigate through the space. I won't lie, I have been broke as what I can't even explain. All these fresh boy something and acting all good wasn't paying off. I joined the block chain with a mindset of getting some kudos from working hard but men, the frustration has been adding up. Seems like people get to subscribe to this frustration channel of mine on a daily reasons it ain't turning out well.
Pastor in won't even let me logically think. They'll bombard me with the patience and hardwork gospel and keep my motivation level at the acme. It will pay off. I kept encouraging myself.
I reach out to people that had started before I did yo ask how far and probably know if I'm missing something and most of them told me "I'm not doing that kind of thing again o. It's just too much stress."
This got me thinking can a newbie actually make up to $50 on hive or is the system built to just extract and data and not gain a thing but a couple of $0.005 on every blog post.
Who's running the system?
Sorry man. It is always like that for beginners. Getting notice is hard here and you have to keep being constant, connecting with people and finding what works and what don't work.
It ain't always easy but you will smile at last when you finally break through.
Amen. Thanks for this. I'm really grateful.
You are welcome.
