A 38-year-old rickshaw puller named Samad Sheikh was killed when he was hit by a bus in the capital's Mirpur. The accident took place in front of Mirpur Section 12 Modern Hospital on Sunday morning.
Pallabi Police Station OC Kazi Wazed Ali said the rickshaw puller Samad died on the spot when he was hit by a bus. The bus was seized after the incident but the driver fled.
The body has been sent to Shahid Suhrawardy Hospital morgue for autopsy. An attempt is being made to know the detailed address of Samad, said the OC of Pallabi police station.
