It truly is. And just like @intrepidthinker said, if your posts aren't equivalent to an essay with multiple pictures, they'll downvote you. It's truly ridiculous. I used to enjoy seeing just basic posts, with pictures, representing people's daily lives; now people are being harrassed for doing just that.
