Hah, it's actually a funny story on how we got to the name! We were first looking at some more "generic" names like travelandpin, theworldtravelmap etc. Whilst looking I was trying to see if I could combine pin and map in a way. So pinmap -> pinmapper -> π± -> pinmapple!
We looked into a few others after like mapvocado and tomapto etc.,but those were all taken! I did manage to snatch up llamaps.com too though, in case I want to use it for a different project! π
