Unlike many people out there who think we are about to turn this around, I'm pretty much at peace with the idea we've entered the bear market already. Why? Well, because I've been here before and the waters look about the same.
That being said
This time, at least for me, things are quite different. I've not made the mistake of overextending myself, of playing casino with money I need to eat. This time I can wait it all out without feeling pain at all.
On top of that, I truly believe that hive is better equipped than ever to survive the hairiest of the bear markets.
Why, you ask?
Well....
On top of the amount of building that has happened on top of this platform, that keeps an influx of interested people showing up. The Peg, the once broken thing we always complained about, seems to be holding up just fine.
I can see a whale or two staking HBD waiting for another three years or four for that matter to make any serious move. It seems to be the "smart thing to do" for once.
But yes
I know a lot of people are hurt. I know there are hundreds of NFT enthusiasts who got burnt big time. But, this is how this works. This is the time to grow as a person, to learn how to take a punch and come out a stronger individual on the other side.
Do yourself a favor, don't look at the charts and learn to enjoy the ride.

important to note that the landscape of this market looks nothing like previous bear markets. Bitcoin has never been in a real bear market; only ones that were created by its own lack of liquidity, and retail pushing the price up x20 in 2017 and 2013. the massive pump we all expected ($250k) never came. thats a huge variable to consider.
at the end of the day Bitcoin moves ten times faster than legacy markets. it crashes 10 times faster and it recovers 10 times faster as well. we are already in oversold territory. not saying it wont crash to $10k but the recovery after something like that would be legendary. I almost expect a move from $10k to $100k in the middle of one of the worst recessions in history at this point.

i fully expect it to hit 10k very soon, but as you said, when it does, it might last minutes before it jumps back up to 20k.
Im sure, you, like me, are not sweating any of this at all.
I'm like... kinda sweating it because I pay all my bills with crypto now but... my bills are cheap and I've found some good positions to hunker down in.
Para quienes solo nos hemos dedicado a producir publicaciónes en HIVE es dificil entender lo que está ocurriendo en el mundo de la criptomonedas.
He comentado a mis hijos, que si están empapados, acerca de los que ocurre con lo de las bajas en las recompesas y todos estamos de acuerdo en que es el momento de seguir escribiendo para apoyar esta plataforma, así sea con escasa retribución.

esto es completamente normal y esperado. Yo no soy de la generacion de los "originales" entre en el mundo de las crypto en 2016 pero creeme que he visto mucho. Estos ciclos son naturales, es parte de la montania rusa, por decir asi.
entiendo que muchos venezolanos dependen de su ingreso de hive para comer, y lamento por ellos que los precios esten tan bajos, pero los que ya pasaron por esto saben que asi mismo es que funciona la cosa.
