Well it happens that I am one of those fortunate people out there to have experience school life.my first day in school was a very hectic one, although I was very happy to be in school because of the feelings it gave me.first was the feeling of change of environment and the feeling of meeting new people as well.
During my first week in school I was really busy with my registration.as a new comer the whole environment seems new to me and I was finding it difficult to locate some places in the school,most especially some lecturers that were not not in my department.within the very first week I was able to finish my registration and also got accommodation very close to the school.one of my most exciting moment in the campus was the matriculation and the born-fire day.
The matric day was part of the ethics of the school to welcome freshers to the school and also it makes you a bonafide member of the school while the born-fire night was a get together for freshers.both were interesting in their own ways as they give different experience.the born-fire night was held in the night and there were a lot of students that came for it even the SUG president was around to celebrate with us.food and drinks were shared among the entire students that came and there was also good music been played which actually made the born-fire night interesting.
Now back to the real life of students in the campus,you are definitely going to come across different kind of students with various attitude and different way of thinking.I happened to come across this guy called Solomon peter,he was a very nice guy and good looking.i met him in the library when I went to read evening and we eventually became very good friends and good roommates. We both like to read when we don't have anything doing most especially during our leisure time.and I times we teach each other on what anyone of us don't understand about a particular course.our friendship was awesome.
Along the line we met other guys too in the campus as well,there was this particular guy who happens to be our hostel mate,but he was quite different from us in his own ways.not that he is a bad guy but he is the type of guy that partied a lot which is not something I and Solomon fancy that much.but we can't changed him because we already know that his own type of student is the party type.
As time goes I met some set of guys who were just the women type,most of the time this guys are not always in lectures,you see them hanging around women and the same time being very funny in their own ways.this guys tends to dress very well and always looking good,so they were the women type of student.
Another type of student you meet in the campus are the type you only see during test and exam period.you hardly see this type of student in campus on normal days or during lectures.way back then we call them ghost students as you only get to see then only during test and exam time.
Then we also have the serious student whom most of their time are been spent reading and attending lectures.younrarely see this type of students attending parties or making friends when not necessary.they are always very conscious of what they do and goal oriented.
For me the campus life was fun because of the ambience it offers me, although it has it bitter and stressfully part as well because you will need to read for test and exams which was always very difficult as you will need to read through all the courses.
