Acid. Don't stress over that shit, dude. I can easily debunk it.

Here's a screenshot of the position I took after receiving the spam.

I brought the timestamp up to show how that comment was made over one half hour before I came to this post and left my first comment.

That first comment above includes a link to the post where that screenshot was taken, so if anyone wants to verify, they can.

His initial response about me leaving was incorrect and I did clear that up. The post was published long before this post and clearly states I'm not leaving.

As things progressed, people can see how far off the mark he was, especially when attempting to describe what that post I wrote was about. I even explained how my first comment here was a joke. People can see that. I even upvoted the one who laughed, because they clearly got the joke.

The comment you upvoted, which is very similar to the one shown in the screenshot, came nearly 2.5 hours after the comment I made in response to his spam under my post.

I've held the same position before I even arrived. He simply had the wrong idea from the start and won't accept the fact he made a mistake. The insults and smears are just a form of damage control. He made a mistake in public and perhaps it bruised his ego so now he wants me to look like the idiot. But I didn't point out the fact he made a mistake to make him look like an idiot. I simply wanted to make it clear I'm not leaving and his view of me was inaccurate from the start.

I'm not at fault for the mistake he made. The insults and smears don't bother me. I never switched. Everyone can see how he switched and went on the attack. I didn't even respond to any of that with insults in return, intentionally, and still have no desire to lash out. I had no fucking clue you'd upvote my comment when I made it but I took that position long before I arrived and now there's proof.

Both times, I thought it as good advice, and still do.

It's almost frightening the lack of self reflection in this case, to even triple down after so many months. The world is becoming a scary place if even 10% of the people are like this.

It's a prime example of why one should never share headlines then pretend to know what they're talking about.
