I think $3-5 per post is already nice, especially if they post daily. But I guess they got jealous of your posts which get a whole lot more. I think a lot of these types of people want instant gratification, and maybe have an inflated ego. They believe they deserve something, but they don't. Just being here for a long time, or posting something doesn't equate to a lot of votes. I think networking and making connections is more than half the battle.
I only have low voting power, and it will take almost 100 percent of my vote for it to reach 0.02. Since I also curate manually, I don't have enough to upvote comments and get to that consistently. That is why I try my best to personally go to their profile, comment on their latest post, and vote on it as well. It is one of my goals to be able to have enough power to consistently upvote commenters. But that is still a long way to go.
You're going to get there soon enough, it'll also help if the price went higher to reach the .02 threshold. Some times even voting 1% so it shows the upvote even if it does't give any rewards is nice enough to have acknowledged the comment with a vote. I followed you recently and you seem to be doing good, you'll get there pretty soon!
I'll take that advice. I guess this is a perfect example of "It's the thought that counts". I'll include that to what I'm already doing. But yeah, I'm slowly making my way there. Just getting to 0.02 was an uphill battle. But I felt like from there it was much smoother.
