I really thought that Hive was censorship resistant so in this sense I believed our own propaganda. It's sad to know that is just that but as you say there is a way to make it real. So let's make it, nothing is IMO more disappointing in a product than to find out that most of their virtues are just marketing.

I too believed it until I really looked at the inner workings of a chain, its a nice sentiment, the only reason things don't get removed much here is because no one bothers to submit any take down claims.
I saw how people nuked their steem accounts after the work and how they could release software hardforks to nullify certain accounts, then it pretty much proved to me that was a lie
