Hey what's up awesome folk of Hive land! As you know the Crypto & Cola Show has had a short break during the Christmas and New Year period but we are back and better than before I can tell you!
The Crypto & Cola Show is a Discord hangout for anyone interested in crypto and the Hive platform. Me and my co-hosts @buttcoins and @shadowspub have been running the show for over two months now with the sole purpose of uniting Hivians and crypto peeps to come and chat some crypto for an hour or so. You'll find us in the official Hive Discord server.
We had a fantastic turnout to the last show just before Christmas and what a show it was too. Thanks to @guiltyparties we gave out a 10,000 HP delegation to one lucky winner. But now we have some even better news oh yes we do.
I am delighted to confirm that after speaking with @guiltyparties he has very kindly decided to make the 10,000 HP delegation a permanent feature of the show. So from now on each month one lucky Hivian will get to be the proud owner of a 10,000 HP delegation for the month before handing the delegation baton over to another lucky Hivian.
Given the increasing price of Hive right now and the bullish conditions generally in the cryptosphere a 10,000 HP delegation is currently worth a handsome sum indeed but if the Hive price continues to climb, and it's looking very hopeful it will, that 10K delegation will give you some serious vote power. It's a generous delegation for sure.
The criteria for winning the 10k HP will be based heavily on merit. So we want to reward those Hivians who are active and positively engaging with the platform. Obviously this can mean posting, commenting and voting regularly but it could also mean someone who is using their stake to advance the Hive platform in another way. Any Hive project that does good for the Hive community and ecosystem can be considered.
In tomorrow's show we are going to be talking about the recent pumps Hive has been experiencing and what this means long term for Hive. It seems that the performance of Hive at the moment is very strong, uniquely so when compared to many other alts so we'll take a deeper dive into why this is occurring. We're also going to be looking at some marketing initiatives and potential opportunities to write about Hive for a magazine with a readership of 700,000 people. We'll also take a look at the general cryptosphere and what the chances of an alt season are.

All types of good news floating around Hive these days. 2 new listings one of which was bitpanda exchange which is huge, hitting #1 trending on coinmarketcap with a double pump keeping hive above .60 cents. And now we get to keep giving out a 10,000 hp delegation… hot damn… open the flood gates hive… people are coming for a peek.

Hive is becoming a very interesting and exciting place right now and it's only going to get more exciting! It's very impressive how Hive appears to be standing out from the crowd.
That's also amazing news about the Hive listing on Bitpanda, and Hive at the number one trending spot on CoinMarketCap.com. Like you say so many good things happening right now with Hive let's hope the momentum can sustain. And what's more we aren't even in alt season yet! Hopefully things will get crazy then!

So the delegation should go out every 5 weeks, 4 weeks for the winner and 1 week to reclaim?
No, the delegation will be pulled 5 days before the end of the month ready to apply the delegation to the next winner.
Suggestion.
Make it a 2000 HP and have it go out each week for a full month.
Delegation for a month sounds much netter than delegation for 3 weeks.
Interesting suggestion but we're sticking with 10,000 HP for almost one month. For example this month the winner has the delegation for 26 days before the delegation is pulled ready in time for the next winner at the start of next month.

That's awesome news! I'm so glad The Crypto & Cola Show is back and with such an amazing new feature. A 10,000 HP delegation is a HUGE reward, and it's great that it's going to be a permanent part of the show. I'm sure it'll be a great incentive for Hivians to be active and contribute. I'm definitely looking forward to the discussion on Hive's recent pumps and the potential for alt season.
