The funds on @curangel are used for server and development cost. Which isn't too much and I can cover it myself if necessary. The retaliation votes have been planned in from the start, and are the reason the compilations don't decline rewards - it's a sink.
Tips are of course appreciated, but by no means am I dependend on them. And while it's a bit more effort, I think it would be awesome if you check out the compilations and look at the individual curators' choices and then go tip the ones you agree with - they are doing the brunt of the work!
