Completely agree with this publication, because I have seen it. Many users are always complaining. Some because they do, some because they don't and some just in case. People tend to see the glass half empty, they are not grateful with what they have.
I think that everything adds up, from the smallest thing.
On the other hand, the fact that we invest time and effort in creating a pleasant content for everyone and of quality, the truth is that not everyone likes the same and what for some is a great content, for others, it is just another post.
I think we should be grateful with what we receive, because, heck, it's more than what we could receive on any other platform. There will be times when it will be great and times when it will be not so great.
I once saw, a few years ago, a very simple post with someone who wrote a post to ask for money.... Really? He said he was unemployed and had two kids to support, that he needed his posts to be rewarded because he had to support his family.
Tough face or as we say in my country " face of a board". Many users told him "poor thing", others, like me, answered him with a lot of respect, that what he had to do was to write, create content, with good images, if possible, his own. That there were too many topics he could talk about, but that he should not start asking for handouts, because that only spoke very badly of him as a person.
And that writing a post saying "I'm leaving", is a kind of threat to see if they respond "Oh, no please.... Stay, don't go! From now on, we will reward all your posts, but don't leave us." Oh, for God's sake, kid, get yourself situated, if you want to leave, the doors are open. There are a lot of people on Hive and more and more users will keep coming and sometimes your content will look good to the curators and sometimes it won't. No one is obligated to reward something they don't like, that looks plain to them, no matter how much the content creator, thinks their post is great. It all depends on tastes and colors.
It had to be said.
