The Never-Ending Cycle of War

Introduction

Most people on Earth are currently living in a state of tension, anxiety and anticipation of wars and events taking place in various parts of the world; in Gaza, Israel and Lebanon, in Ukraine and Russia, in southern and northern Sudan, and perhaps in Taiwan and China, and other areas that various media outlets transmit images and news about.

That is why I do not know whether we should thank these media outlets or not, especially since most of the scenes and images they clearly show are horrific scenes of dead, wounded, and blood, and most of them are scenes that make children panic and worry, and the scenes they see may remain stuck in their imagination and make them lose their sense of security.

War was mainly defined as a human invention, and that it is the will of nature that was placed in the human race to push humans to establish laws restricting freedom so that they can live safely.
The characteristics of war are social, economic and political. And with every transformative technology, these characteristics change.

Wars waged between countries aim to achieve economic, strategic, ideological, or other goals; such as controlling a region to place it under a certain authority, or changing an existing social or political system.

Wars have been a source of concern throughout history about the ethics of war after resorting to the art of manufacturing advanced precision weapons and other weapons of mass destruction, but at the same time war is a necessity and a necessary evil to defend the country. Ironically, most of the time war is intertwined with the economy, as many wars are based partially or entirely on economic reasons.
So, despite the negative circumstances and results it carries, war has positive results, as it motivates countries and their governments to spend on producing and selling more weapons, missiles, aircraft to armies, so that this industry in times of war becomes a reason for economic prosperity and reducing unemployment, and other positive economic factors, which unfortunately, are often followed by a period of recession.

The oldest war recorded and revealed by archaeology occurred in the middle of the Stone Age in the archaeological cemetery 117, or “Jebel Al-Sahaba” in the Nile Valley (I talked about this war in a previous video of mine), and its time was determined to have occurred about 14,000 years ago, in a place near the Egyptian-Sudanese border.
That was followed by the "Stone Age" period in which man developed, and began with the emergence of agriculture, and ended when metal tools and weapons developed and became widespread. The beginning of the “Bronze Age” witnessed the introduction of copper in the manufacture of daggers and axes... which were very expensive, followed by the "Iron Age", in which man's use of iron in the manufacture of tools and weapons emerged, and is considered the last of the three main ages.

Conclusion

Wars have a direct impact on humans, making them vulnerable to many shocks and different reactions, which increases the chances of physical, mental and psychological health problems, as in cases of conflict, many people who are exposed to shocking events may suffer from serious mental health problems, and others will develop behaviors that will hinder their ability to work effectively.
Depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and psychological and physical problems such as insomnia are among the most common effects. The chemistry of the brain also changes, which begins to work differently, and this is called the "fear circuit", which is a protective mechanism that we all have.

The effects of psychological trauma on children are also negative and cause anxiety or depression, as they become tenser, emotional, and feel fear and panic (phobia). It also increases their sleep disorders such as insomnia and disturbing dreams, accompanied by behavioral changes such as recklessness, hostility, and social withdrawal. Younger children may become more attached to their parents, while adolescents show feelings of sadness or extreme anger.
