I am a fan of Computers and in fact technology, I always want to share my thoughts, ideas and make suggestions especially when it comes to Technology and solving worldly problems using Technology as a tool.

I was introduced to the Hive community by my brother, he also loves technology, he told me everything about Hive but I kind of confused for sure after I joined the community, I don't know how it all works, so I think writing this post will help me get a better understanding about how it all works on the Hive community.

I have joined a couple of communities but I still ask myself if there are duties for me to accomplish before starting anything, I need some help.

Please you all can share your thoughts under the comment or maybe share with me a reference that I can read that will help me learn more or better still write a post and tag me.

I hope I will be reached out in no time, thank you all. Happy New Year to you all...

Nobody can tell you exactly what you need to do to grow a presence on Hive. In general, it is a social network so being active and interacting with other users will help. It is however up to you to find a way that you can contribute which actually gets deemed valuable and rewarded by others.

Wow that is amazing and I’m just starting up, joined a couple of communities and still looking out as what each community focuses, I’m glad for this comment, thank you 🙏

Welcome to the Hive community @realib1!
We sincerely hope you find everything you are looking for and have found a new home here.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and publish and do everything except Wallet with the Posting key
  2. Use your Active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Hivesigner, and Peaklock,
  3. The Owner key and the Master password are only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your passwords; but copy and store them offline in a safe place,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once, and
  7. Do Not click on any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

I found you because @brittandjosie and @jamerussell from @heyhaveyamet presented and promoted your publication to get more exposure and help you grow faster.

If you find yourself overwhelmed and need some guidance, or if you have any questions, there are informed Hiveans available who can help you; you can click to go to The Terminal in Discord here:

Hey There. Love that you made it. As a fan of technology you probably already know that Hive is a blockchain of technologies in one. Check out @leofinance community. It fosters passions for technology as well as crypto. You can also follow @geekgirl for starters. You'd fall inlove. This are my own suggestions based on my knowledge. Feel free to explore. Hive doesn't bite. Also here are two articles I believe can help you a lot to understand Hive better...

Welcome to Hive blockchain.

Good to see a future IT professional here. Been in the field a year or 30. You'll love it.

Try joining the @stemsocial and @stemgeeks communities as they have lots of great STEM content you may be interested in. They are where I share most of my IT and Cyber related posts.

Looking forward to what you share.

Oh wow, I am so grateful to meet you @joerhino, I will be looking forward to learning a lot from you... Thank you so much more
