This a specie of the chick called the layers, they need to be feed for about 6 month before they can start laying eggs. Its a very lucrative business because ones they start laying they will lay every blessed day non stop. Till they die or stop at some point. The only challenge is taking care of them from this tender age till they are mature enough to start laying, the food and drugs for that period of 6 months is another thing one had to be prepared for . but well as the saying goes without planting one cant harvest.
