Well, 2024 is about to end, and I just wanted to do a small infra inventory of what I've got Hive related running. These are jut notes for myself mostly, but some things might be useful to a wider audience.
Seed Nodes:

3 US cities, San Fransisco, Chicago and New York City. SFO is currently down. Will be fixed once core router replacement of my infrastructure provider is done. Kansas city node was removed in Q4 of 2024 for financial reasons, alongside with Chicago covering the same ground.
SFO and Chicago are hosted by Ryamer and NYC is hosted by F4 networks.
2025 Goals: Maybe add a node in Sweden, but don't see too big of a need for a seed in Sweden due to many nodes hosted by Privex in the country. But it's easy enough to spin a node up and get it running on a VM so I don't see any issues there.
Witness Nodes:

2025 Goals: Add some monitoring to the witness nodes so I don't have to rely on FRIDAY to let me know when I miss a block.
API Nodes:
I run none fully myself. I do help @deathwing manage https://api.deathwing.me. I don't do the initial setup or anything, more of a "oh this node isn't behaving well, let me take it out of the cluster and let deathwing know so he can fix it" sorta thing. Just maintenance while the smarter person isn't able to fix things(cuz people gotta sleep).
2025 Goals: None here, continue helping DW run his nodes. I have 0 desire to get into the nodes game.
Brining Hive Into The Current Day:
Hive's P2P stack only works on the older IPv4 protocol. I started a bounty on my bug to fix that. If you wanna make some money, get working! Engine Node:
My engine node, while technically not a "public" node lives on. Please don't use it for your new projects as it's future is uncertain, but for now it's still surviving and doing a ton of request(about 5TB of data went out the last week) so need to help migrate those users off to other nodes before I feel comfortable fully shutting it down.
2025 Goal: Get all public users of the node to other nodes.
