so the delegator for now is us
Right now your plan is to buy them off the dlease marketplace is it not? In the marketplace, the delegator can cancel the delegation anytime. Since you paid for it, you guys get a refund, what happens to the person who paid with a card? Is it just "good luck, you are out your money" to them or will you be providing a refund as well?
As well, how soon so you guys plan on getting yourselves in a situation where you can delegate yourself? A dLease marketplace order can take up to 5 days to fill(if it gets filled at all), and in those scenarios, what happens? It doesn't seem like you are properly informing your users of what your current methods are. The only way to get a near instant delegation would be for you guys to use blocktrade's api and send to that, but since blocktrades only does 90 day delegations, you guys are putting on a lot of risk.
@rishi556 @hivedelegation, if the interest rate on DLease is set high enough on the orders it will very likely get filled. You can also advertise direct links to your leases on your posts, just double click a market order and it takes you to a page where the URL is available.
Also I highly caution against getting involved with fiat onramps due to regulation.
Thanks, @thecryptodrive we still need to look over what you do and see if it applies to what we had planned. We don't expect that much volumn to start with and will limit the # of orders in a given day. Not even an issue with regulations till it hits a certain peak.
No. We were looking into it. Most likely won't work.
Blocktrades. We buy the delegation and point it to the end-user. We are risk of 5 days of free upvotes if they decide to cancel their subscription. We actually take a lot of risk with all this.
So the current risk for you guys is that the user decides not to continue payments. Why not just do 3 month delegations instead of 1 month?
Yes, we plan on offering 3 mo. plans soon too
And when's the plan to make it instant going to occur?
Not sure just depends on a bit of volumn but I don't see it that far off. 12 hours isn't to bad.
