The News

Although Bitcoin has hit new heights the $HIVE price has not changed much this week. It had a bit of a dip and is slowly recovering from that. I know some in the crypto world think that Trump will give it a boost, but I do not trust anything he says. That liar is all about his own ego and will say what it takes to make at least some people like him. I could be wrong on the crypto aspect, but it may depend on what people behind him want. I know he launched his own coin, but that was probably more about making him money like his bible and tacky shoes. I am not a fan as I think his divisive tactics are bad for America and the world. He sucks up to dictators and aspires to be one as well as enabling people who spread hate.

Prices from @coingecko

The @keychain app keeps getting new features. It gained some that may be useful to businesses wanted to accept $HBD. With the fast transactions this is a viable way to pay with crypto.

These folk get a share of the post rewards and some also goes to @commentrewarder so that comments I vote up also get extra. You can use that on your posts to encourage engagement even when your vote will not give enough to pay out.

The Dog House

I saw a case this week of someone doing several short posts each day, some with just a few words. That sort of thing does not go down well on Hive. It is seen as low value any may still attract automatic votes. We now have several ways to post short content via comments (InLeo Threads, Ecency Waves, Peakd Snaps) that are better suited for this and may actually reach a wider audience. You are free to do what you want on Hive, but prepare to be judged on it. There are those who will vote you down if they see you as exploiting the platform whilst not adding value.

I do think that people should be given a chance to change their ways and I am against holding grudges. That tends to be unhealthy. Just remember that anything you put on this blockchain is there forever. Even if you edit the old versions are still there.

The End

Here in the northern hemisphere we are heading into winter. Maybe I need to run a mining rig to generate some heat. I have noticed that my solar panels are generating less power now, but the battery can still save me money. I hope that Hive can help to keep your spirits up through the long nights. Find your community and keep the engagement going. Hive is about people and not just money. Some of your friends may want to get off corporate social media and so bring them here. If you need to create accounts for them then I may be able to help as I can claim lots of them.

I like the look of that show, Dark. Will have to check it out. A good review done there!

Its weird, but it's Time Travel.

I love a bit of time travel weirdness!

When are we getting another instalment of your writing endeavours? It's been a while. Surely you're not still on holiday?

Lol, my holiday has indeed been over for some weeks but I am struggling to shake the holiday vibes off. I think I will be getting back to posting this coming week tho!

Better had or else I will have to continue snunshing my face!

Lol, we can't have the snunshing!

It lives up to the title. It gets a bit pretentious at times, but the performances are generally good.

Yeah, I am in between shows and it seems to tick the right boxes!

Bitcoin like Hive is a long term investment opportunity. I don't think about the daily price unless it falls low enough to buy some more. Hive is at bargain prices right now and I've been accumulating some.
People often think erroneously that they cannot buy into bitcoin at the current ath and they start looking at alts.

Good news for Hive et al but there is always a delay in this process.

Having just visited Germany and knowing what happened there in the 1930's it was unfortunate to see the people in the USA falling for the same old divisive propaganda.

We may all suffer the consequences of this result as you know when America sneezes the world catches a cold.

It's wise to have some assets outside of the fiat system.

$HIVE does seem like a bargain now. I will probably buy more. I see it as a good intro to crypto as you can accumulate it just by being social.

As for the USA, people have not learnt from social despite very obvious parallels. I hope their democracy is robust enough to withstand these attacks.

It's going to be an interesting 4 years that is for sure. Will the USA democracy survive?
The one safeguard is of all things, the military. They swear allegiance to the constitution and not the president.
Bizarre as it may seem. A military coup might save democracy! 😂🤦‍♂️👍

Hi Steevc, thank you for mentioning my post 😊 Have a nice weekend to UK!

You are very welcome. I hope to have a relaxing weekend and I wish you a good one.

Thank you Steve for mentioning my new album coming out on Nov19th.

I think a lot of the alts haven't found their footing yet. It probably won't be until 2025 that we really start to see things take of outside of BTC and ETH.

I meant to mention that $HIVE is ranking about 500th on Coingecko and that is shameful. It needs more attention.

Very true!

I found Dark a little strange. I do like time travel stuff but until the end we were kind of kept in the 'Dark'. I spent most of my watching time trying to figure out what was happening.

I like that they didn't try to string it out for too long. The story is fairly tight and the loose ends got tied up as far as I remember. Some of the twists made my head spin and the last season got weirder.

There's so many shows out there and you have to decide what to commit too. I'm still working through GoT :) I ought to write up some others that I've been watching.

Ah, I didn't read @akipponn's post careful enough. I thought it was another post with memories from HiveFest. That's pretty cool what she did, writing that article about Hivefest on a Japanese website.

Thanks for sharing the news, Steve!

I dabble in Bitcoin too, especially earning sats via Wavlake and Fountain when listening to podcasts. I spent £50 on some Hive last week and powered that up, putting some into HBD savings too.
