Due to recent events readers in the USA must pay a 20% tariff to read this post.
All the markets seem to be down this week due to some dumb tariffs. I expect some will be buying at these bargain prices.
I used to look at a couple of sites that rated dapps on various chains, but they did not seem to get realistic statistics for Hive. There is an effort to get some Hive dapps voted up on The Dapp List. You need to sign in with a crypto wallet. I used the one in Brave.

- @strava2hive is an app to take your posts on the Strava fitness logging site and make a Hive posts from them so you can earn. It makes things really easy as it can include a couple of photos and some hashtags as well as the statistics of the activity. It was created by triathlete @run.vince.run.
- Drummer @ale.dri is continuing his experiments with strange microphones. Sometimes you can get nice effects from basic kit.
- Talking of microphones, @epodcaster is giving some tips on recording podcasts. Getting a good sound can help to keep people listening.
The Dog House
reported that someone has been impersonating them and trying to get people to use dodgy software, supposedly to conduct interviews. It could well try to hack your wallets and if you lose your funds then there can be little chance of getting them back.We all know that the internet can be a dangerous place. It is full of scammers and crooks. Cryptocurrency holders need to beware of those trying to access their wallets. @coldbeetrootsoup
Hive can be pretty good for checking if someone is who they say. If you are contacted by an account that may appear to be an established Hiver, but the account is new or has a low reputation then you should be wary. You can see who follows them too. On other platforms this may be harder to check. In Peakd there is a chat function or you can use encrypted memos for private conversations.

As another month starts I shall be compiling the #BritList tomorrow. I found a couple more people to include, but numbers are well down on the peak of a few years ago. I know the price is not great now, but Hive still offers one of the easiest ways to earn online as well as being better in many ways than the corporate platforms.

I feel that way about when Hive or SATS or other things drop in price. If I still believe in the core foundation of a thing, then it's on sale. But sometimes things go south and there's no point in trying to catch a falling knife.
I think Hive still has good foundations. People are not just invested in it financially as they will have friends here. Other coins do not have that community feeling.

Well the tariffs as they are seem to have been bashed out in a spreadsheet rather than strategically.
The Strava app does not have a token, but it does give out some small rewards. I think it is partly an exercise in building something to connect the systems and it works well.
You are doing a great job too as we need good news sources around Hive. I can't follow everything.
I started doing these posts early on as I thought it would be useful and just kept going.

Imagine if Hive had tariffs. It would soon collapse. The world needs more talking and less picking fights. All people want the same basic things, but some want a bigger share.

Ah yes, I did see that, but have not looked too deep into it. Being able to spend our crypto is the missing link for many people.

I can't believe my eyes! From your graph it is clear that the value of TRX has surpassed that of HIVE. I am quite amazed. Was this the goal of Mr. SUN to achieve many years ago? However, I believe that this could be a good time to accumulate HIVE and I will do it !WEIRD
Tron has a much bigger market cap, but I include it for price comparison. Obviously we know $HIVE has more value.
Market is an absolute bloodbath because of this. Would imagine it will get significantly worse before we hit a bottom and eventual stabilization.
If everything is down then we can hold position. Hive is about more than money.

It's really great to see more Hive apps like Strava2Hive. It's cool when people build tools to connect different platforms, there's more advantage for each platform involved
Indeed, transparency in the accounts may be uncomfortable for those who are used to privacy, but it is beneficial for there to be a balance within the system.
There can be ways to prove yourself without giving everything away, but those who try to cheat tend to get found out.
I read your post without paying any tariff. Am I sinful? :P
