The News
It has been another fun week for the $HIVE price as it hit new highs. We have seen some spikes at the beginning of each month, but this was in the middle of a month. Again it seems to driven by Korean investors. Some of you will know that the now corrupt St--mit platform was big in Korea, but some of those users did not come over to Hive. That may have been due to them supporting the company responsible for the hostile takeover. Despite this they seem happy to buy the Hive token and bump the price. That may be to take a quick profit, but the price has not dropped much yet and may settle higher than before.

In 267 posts I have mentioned 863 people. Some of those will have been in the doghouse section, but probably not too often. I am including the top fifty here. Coingecko comes top as I credit them for the market data I have featured on many of these posts, but they are inactive. So are quite a few of the others. Some never even posted on Hive after the fork.
Quite a few of these people are friends of mine. I feel on my own posts I can mention who I like, but I try to be pretty open on who can be included. Anyone else is welcome to do their own #FollowFriday posts according to their tastes.

I hope everyone enjoyed @HiveFest last weekend. As well as the presentations it is a great way to catch up with friends and meet new people. I introduced some to each other. If anyone wants to meet up in AltspaceVR or kick off a Zoom meeting then please let me know. We do not have to wait a full year to organise anything and it can be very informal. I would hope that next year we can get back to in-person meetups. I really miss those.

BEER.That is awesome that you were able to use SQL to pull that. I really liked that language back when I was in college. It is one I could have likely saw myself making a career of. Much easier than C++. At least for me anyway!
I quite like SQL as you can concentrate on finding the data without worrying about some other aspects. Having it for Hive is just great. I have an app I can run queries in. C++ is powerful, but you have to do a load of boilerplate just to make a simple script. Python is quicker to dive into.

If you want to do any coding it's a good one to learn. You can do stuff on Hive with it.

Totally agree on this. Informal meetings between members of hive community and local IRL hive meet-ups are really valuable.

I would also be up for informal meetings on Altspacevr - as I thought it was a great way to chat that was as near to a real life meetup as I think we will get online. I definitely met some great new people I wouldn't have otherwise.
