I had earlier saved up some money and put in my HBD savings for a rainy day. Apparently, the rainy day came earlier than expected. Some obligations and debt I needed to clear off. I initiated the withdrawal and patiently waited. I was returning from church when I saw that my withdrawal was eight minutes away. Alas, I didn't even realize that my eagerness would be the source of my misfortune. I wanted to route the funds through Binance deposit and then try to get it out through P2P. Immediately I got the funds out, I sent it to @bdhivesteem. It then only just clicked moments later that I had sent HBD instead of Hive. At first I had some hope that it might be retrieveable, but after several engagements with Binance support, seems I just did a charity for CZ.

The Irony of it all is that I'm the most skeptical when it comes to sending funds, especially through hive network. I check, and double check and triple check. I have learned a lesson, and I really wish there could be a way people can recover their funds because it kinda seems unfair. I can only imagine if someone else sends higher amount. DOUBLE CHECK ADDRESS, TAG AND TOKEN YOU'RE SENDING BEFORE CLICKING THE SEND BUTTON. DO NOT BE LIKE STEVENSON.
I'm particularly grateful to the hive community for the support and help on discord. The Ecency community, OCD, hive learners, inleo and everyone else. This is such an odd post but hey, I've gotta cope somehow. Thank you for reading, cheers. Remember kids, do not be like me.

I lost some money doing the same mistake via Coinex. Its so easy to solve this on their party, as you suggested...
They haven't shown any sign of fixing at all.

What the hell you just did to yourself? 100 bucks is not small money.
I have seen some people making this mistake often but with smaller amount of money involved. You need to extra careful next time when making a transfer to exchange.
