Hi Steve! Hope you're doing well! I am just back from holiday in Italy and it's raining in London (of course!)
What annoys me about hive:
- People doing it for the rewards. You've said this many times but basically I think it's best if people completely disregard the reward element and just interact with what interests them.
- Proof of stake in general. A bit controversial/fundamental I know! but I'm not sold. Aren't we just building another version of wealth = power? (not that I have better ideas to be honest!)
Keep doing what you do!
Those are a couple of things that define what Hive is, so I doubt they will change. Without rewards we would have hardly any users. I think it is making a real difference for some people who struggle to get by. I've mostly built my stake by just being active and now I can distribute more rewards.
You can always decline rewards. I think we need alternatives to the corporate platforms that are getting worse.
