Going Backwards

in #hive2 years ago

I have noticed that we are actually losing Minnows lately. We are 40 down on a couple of months ago, but about half did level up to Dolphin. We need to keep supporting smaller accounts so that they stick around. I would think that the Hive community ought to be able to get someone to Minnow just about every day. I will check back in another couple of months to see how we do.

Stats

I get that some people need to power down, but building your Hive stake gives you more influence and increases what you can earn. It would be interesting to know how many have moved funds to HBD savings. That is likely to give a better return, but does not affect the rewards distribution.

I have reviewed who gets support from this account. Some people made it to Minnow and so will no longer get the votes and some more who are nearly there have been added. I use a @hivesql query to find the latter, but check each one to see if they fit the criteria. They need to be engaging regularly. Some were already getting good votes on each post, so will get there soon anyway.

This project was started over four years ago when we had over 9000 Minnows. I would have hoped to have been well over 10k by now. Can we turn things around this year?

Some people kindly delegate to this account, but you can also follow the voting trail via HiveVote so you get the curation rewards.

Absolutely I cannot wait to get a bunch of my accounts built up so that they are a little more than self-sufficient...

Excellent post thank you and have a nice day.

Can you recommend some very small fish to vote upon?
Ones that post good content, or at least not autofill stuff?

I vote manually, and cannot figure out what HiveVote does

You can look at some that this account votes on. I am looking for those who just need a nudge to get to minnow. I hope you can find some you actually want to follow and support. We need to emphasise the social aspect and not just focus on rewards to make it fun.
